So many people - - who use the media, of course, to want to reach a mass audience.
And it makes sense to take in and those decisions in their area.
But there is a group-between which most people never think: opinion leaders.
Who are the opinion leaders?
Do not wear uniforms or belong to a union. You can not be identified by sight.
Opinion leaders are those who have an active voice in the community. This is a person who (a) is expressed, and (b) is asked for advice a lot.
This is different from a community brake, as the guy who always shows all board meetings and asked question after question about a particular company mascot dark theme. It is an opinion leader. Sure, he talks a lot - but nobody really listens, and people are not standing on the street to ask for support on other issues, such as the WHO recommends for president or dentist.
To identify opinion leaders
One way to identify opinion leaders is to look at the letters to the editor for three or four months. After a while, you will see displayed the same name in different subjects. These people are opinion leaders.
There are other people with the natural stature and credibility. The elect are opinion leaders.
Karl Rove used to spread rumors in law school, because I knew that law students were in a school from around the country and had connections educated circles, powerful friends and family. He was right. I think it is immoral to use law students to spread false rumors, but Rove was right to see the law students as an opinion leader. They are young, educated and connected.
But not only elites and people are formed based. Barbers and hairdressers, waiters often know more about what happens in a community than anyone else.
The best way to know who are the opinion leaders in the community - be it a city, institution or professional - is to ask people: "If you must know what happened, or advice did you call?"
The same name will begin to appear. These are the opinion leaders.
