Recommendations
Recommendations help confidence in your services, skills and what you offer to build. The main thing to remember, when it comes to the recommendation to focus on quality and not quantity. You can also use their "find-ability" to improve the network.

How do you get referrals? Here are two suggestions:

  1. Questions, but do not use E-mail Reporting. Make your request and send a personal note to those you have worked with partners and colleagues.
  2. Dales. Give others a recommendation that meet often.

Applications
Applications add value to your LinkedIn profile. The application directory offers a variety of tools to improve your profile.

Some of my favorites are:

  • Blog Link or WordPress - Connect your blog, your LinkedIn profile.
  • Portfolio indicator - Show your work in your profile.
  • Ebookshelf - read the contents of the great minds in the industry.
  • Slideshare - Enter the presentations on your LinkedIn profile.

The above applications will help the experience of your connections give them an insight into you as a person.

LinkedIn Answers
Unfortunately, I think LinkedIn answers are not enough attention and then my favorite part has to be LinkedIn. Answers and LinkedIn Q & A platform allows people like you to prove your knowledge of the business, responding to questions asked by other members. Are selected from their answers, you can earn points. The points fall on senior members to answer such as "top experts in this week." This is a statement that when it comes to credibility.

If you are trying to establish themselves as an expert of LinkedIn answers or just to shop is a great place to start. It can make a lot of fun.

Resume Builder
LinkedIn has a great resume builder. This is especially useful if you are seeking employment and need to optimize your profile, so it is by recruiters. The tool is very easy to use, but does not dare use if your LinkedIn profile is accurate, correct and optimized. The Resume Builder comes with 11 models to choose from.
